Frequently Asked Questions
A CPAP machine has been recognized to be the ultimate treatment option for a variety of sleep breathing disorders. However, over 75% of patients that have a CPAP machine, do not wear it for various reasons which then allows them to become more at risk for other health risks. If you are a patient that has a CPAP and wears it, that is great and we recommend you continue to use it. Another wonderful quality about a oral appliance is that they can be used in combination with a CPAP (depending on patient severity).
